Picking for Fitness

In class, nearly everyone agreed that music plays a major role in fitness. Many of us listen to Ipods while we exercise, others listen to music to relieve stress, and some actually play music as a means of activity. In class discussion, students all agreed that boredom is a major factor that contributes to drug abuse in Douglas County. Playing music can be an excellent way to combat boredom and excercise the mind. Playing guitar has helped many of us to stay mentally and emotionally fit. I have posted this example of an extraordinary guitarist who has clearly focused a great deal of time and energy into his art. Watch and enjoy this accoustic jam session.

  1. yeah i agree i cant run unless i listen to my ipod it put me in a mood wear i can just relax and run. i also listen to peacful music to calm me down when im fired up.

  3. I didn’t know exactly the effects of music intell now. This guy is an amazing guitarist who knows how to focus on what he loves.
